Could this be the ultmate engine to be mounted in the back of your Bug? The set certainly does it for me. Chech the twin carbs, Bosch distributor and oil filter. As a mather of fact, it is a Porsche 356 engine (enginecode 616/1 making it a 1600 normal engine produced between 1960 and 1963) which needs a little refreshment. Does anyone has a clue about this aftermarked exhaust set-up? It certainly isn't original but should give a little more power.
